that "plug into" your browser to increase your computer's capabilities.
Plug-ins function with with Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer.
The most common plug-ins are for audio, video, animation, movies, and 3-D
Virtual Reality. While new plug-ins are developed daily, you will
be interested in plug-ins for audio and video that will be used with many
courses in the future.
Plug-ins you may need are RealAudio/Video
and Adobe PDF.
